Each pet is unique - meal times and potty schedule are just the tip of the iceberg. I’m Pet First Aid/CPR certified, Fear Free Shelter certified and a Certified Professional Pet Sitter. It’s important to me to have the most up to date information to help keep your pets safe, which is why I am committed to continuing my education on all things pets!
Before the first visit/walk with your pet(s), we’ll have a complimentary meet and greet. I’ll do a thorough evaluation to get to know your pet(s), while assessing their body language and temperament. My goal is to set up a visit tailored to your pets unique needs, and to build a relationship with your pets to help decrease their stress and anxiety while you’re out of the house.
I follow the Fear Free principles while providing pet care, which helps me build trust with each pet I care for. It also helps me to establish a baseline of their behavior, so I can alert you of anything out of the ordinary.

I send after-visit updates via text with a detailed explanation of how the visit went, so you can relax knowing your pets have been taken care of. I can also leave an equally detailed physical note or “report card” for you to read upon your return home.

Fearful and nervous pets are welcomed, and will be approached with great care and respect for their boundaries. Not every pet is immediately (or ever!) open to new people, and it’s a priority for me to go at your pet(s) pace while building a relationship. In my experience, this builds trust which is foundational having a relationship with a fearful/nervous pet.
We will work together to develop a plan for visits/walks best suited to your pet to avoid anything that causes unnecessary fear/stress.
In-home pet sitting is superior to boarding for pets that tend to be nervous/anxious/fearful, as they remain in their known and comfortable home environment, without the many unknown sights, smells, and sounds of a boarding facility.
